Constant State of Change

I reckon it’s time to update you on where in the world I am, isn’t it?
As I finished up a fabulous vacation in Orlando, I got a call from my office proposing a change in my schedule. Of course I absolutely love the Sunshine and was excited to go back, however I was given the opportunity to install my position on a few other ships. Sounds like an adventure, yes?

That’s what I thought too! Not all ships have Media Managers, but we’re getting close to having it rolled out fleet wide. I’ve just come from the Carnival Victory, out of Miami, having successfully completed my first roll out!
I was very excited to be offered this opportunity, as I am getting a chance to not only teach someone a new job, but also to be in charge of installing the position. It’s quite a large task, I won’t bore you with the gory details, but there is a lot that goes into the process. I also believe that teaching things to others brings huge growth to the teacher as well as the student. I am learning more and more about how to be the best I can be at my job with every passing day.
That being said, it’s also a bit of a hectic schedule for me for the next few months. Two weeks on the Carnival Victory just passed and now I’m flying to Long Beach, California to do two weeks of installation on the Carnival Imagination. Needless to say I’m excited to go back to the Imagination, I had a lovely contract there last year and will certainly get to see some familiar faces.

I have two other ships scheduled after the Imagination, however I’m not at liberty to reveal them just yet as they aren’t 100% confirmed. But don’t worry, you’ll be excited.
For now, I can only tell you that change is good, I’m learning lots, racking up lots of airmiles, and seeing lots of old friends. Stay tuned!!
