Winding Down

In Uncategorized on March 14, 2013 at 5:28 pm

Well I’m currently on vacation!! It’s amazing, and I have so much to say about it, but right this second I’m very relaxed from a nice forest run and a delicious lunch. So as I craft a more detailed blog post, enjoy this photo from my beach walk last night. I truly live in an amazing place!

I know you’re all waiting to hear about how wonderful my new ship is and how much I love it, but that’s going to be the next post! Right now, I just want to share the lovely photos I took of Half Moon Cay, the Bahamanian island owned by the Carnival Corporation!! It’s incredible!! There’s so many amazing excursions you can do, or endless beautiful ocean to play in! Enjoy!!

I’m so excited to swim in the ocean!!!

Endless beach!! Summer is all year round!!

From left to right, Constantinos, Myself, and Mario enjoying our time off the ship!

One of the many excursions is horseback riding, first around the island and then into the ocean!!

Doesn’t it look like a postcard??? I’m living in a postcard!!

I adored this island! I can’t wait to go back and do more fun excursions!!

Mental Health

In Uncategorized on April 23, 2012 at 8:00 pm

I’ve been in need of a mental health day! You know, a day when you lie on the couch, watch your favorite movie and eat ice cream (soy ice cream in my case). As I don’t have time for a whole day, I’m just taking a few hours to relax, re-balance my thoughts and watch an episode of Game of Thrones. I think it’s really important to ensure you take time for yourself, it can be really difficult, life gets busy. It took me a very long time to not feel guilty for taking some precious alone time to just do nothing, I always feel like I should be doing something!! So today, I’m relaxing. Here is a photo that helps me relax, I took it in Barbados when I was there in October. Just makes me feel warm and relazed all over again. Have a look, take a time out from your day!!
